SANDBLOCK® is het officiële door Marwi geregistreerde beeldmerk van een beschermde samenstelling van materialen dat een duurzame perfecte anti-slip inzet vormt voor pedalen. De antislipwerking van het materiaal is gegarandeerd, ook wanneer het nat van besmeurd is met olie of vet. Deze antislip-inzet is door een speciale, watervaste technologie niet van het pedaal te scheiden.
De UNION SANDBLOCK® pedalen hebben een extra grote anti-slip inzet (dus meer direct contact met de schoen van de fietser) en zijn speciaal ontworpen voor de toepassing op E-Bikes.
De voordelen van deze hoogwaardige SANDBLOCK® antislip inzet zijn:

De SANDBLOCK® antislipvlakken zijn zeer slijtvast, waterbestendig en stevig verbonden met het robuuste polypropyleen van het pedaal via een nieuwe gepatenteerde kooie-technologie. Vergeleken met de zelfklevende schuurpapier versies van pedalen die worden gebruikt, is deze sterke verbinding watervast en niet te scheiden of verwijderen van het pedaal.
Technische details en testresultaten:
- Diverse laboratoriumtesten bewijzen dat het SANDBLOCK® niet gescheiden of verwijderd kan worden van de kooi van het pedaal, zelfs niet wanneer hiervoor gereedschap wordt gebruikt
- De antislipfunctie van het SANDBLOCK® heeft veel betere prestaties dan het standaard antislipmateriaal dat is gemaakt van schuurpapier
- Een antislip duurzaamheidstest laat zien dat met een belasting van 30 kg en bij 10.000 cycli, het materiaal slechts 0,25 mm afslijt

Quality Knives At A Bargain Price

I have had these knives for almost 18 months now and they have held up great Edge retention is fantastic, and as long as you treat them right and don't leave dried tomato sauce on them for 5 days, no rust to speak of or even any discoloring! The build is fantastic and they are well balanced. I still can't believe I got this set for the price I did.
I have a collection of pocket knives, I own Japanese wet stones to sharpen and understand what 8cr13mov, s30V and 14c28n is in knife production. (It's metal alloys BTW.) Having said that, I was a bit picky in finding a knife set that was quality built, had good steel and didn't cost $800.
I honestly don't know how they are producing this set and not losing their shirts. Full tang design (One piece of steel from tip through the handle to the butt), and has nice glass fiber reinforced polymer handle material. I can't find any reference to this set in particular for what steel is used, but based on using various steel through the years I have a pretty good idea what this probably is. (BTW, I hate to break to you. At this price, it's absolutely NOT German steel...and that's okay anyway.)
Brodark references Japanese VG10 steel with their other stand alone chef knives. It is common in the Chinese knife industry to copy an alloy alloy and call it by it's original name. It's NOT Japanese steel. What is commonly referred to as VG10 is 10cr15mov or 8cr15mov. Both are fine steel to use for a "general purpose" knife and perform similar to Japanese VG10, or even US made 440c stainless...perhaps even a little better than 440c.
The steel in these knives is pretty dang hard, which makes me think it is 10cr15mov. The 10 is the Chromium content in the alloy. More chromium, more hard, more hard ='s more brittle. There is a balance of how hard without being brittle. Some knife makers use super hard steel to get a wicked sharp edge that holds for a while...buuuut then after a year of use you see all the chips along the edge or perhaps even a tip has snapped off. That's hard, brittle steel. You can't fix chips unless you grind them down and create a totally new edge on the knife and start over.
These Brodark knives find a nice balance of hardness for edge retention but enough give to not chip or break off under general use. Like I said, almost 1.5 years of use and no chips, bends, or scratches.
I still can't believe I paid around $50 for them. Incredible.

Wow! Amazing knives, regardless of the cost

I don’t know how they do it for the price
These knives are amazing, and I got them on sale for well less than a Benjamin
The package with the block and the knives in it was so heavy, that I needed someone to help me get it out of the inner box.
The knives are beautiful, heavy, well balanced.
I can vouch, that they are sharp AF, because I cut myself twice unpacking them 😂😂😂
No fault to the manufacturer; they were very well packed.
I am just a klutz
First time I used them, straight out of the box with only a soapy bath before, was on a tomato and cucumber. I only have the use of one arm, and usually have to get an adaptive cutting board to secure my fruit/veges before I can start cutting them.
But these knives were so heavy and so sharp, I didn’t need to do that
It cut through the tomato skin like water
The hardwood block looks beautiful on my countertop
These are beautiful knives on their own.
When you throw in how incredibly inexpensive they are… Buy them now.

Best Knife Block Set For Any Kitchen

We ordered and love the BRODARK Kitchen Knife Set with Block, Full Tang 15 Pcs Professional Chef Knife Set with Knife Sharpener, Food Grade German Stainless Steel Knife Block Set Steel-king Series. This set is one of the best purchases we've ever made.
We purchased 4 other brand sets and sent them back due to poor quality, etc. One set cost $299 and was not as sharp or solid as the Brodark, and had straight uncomfortable handles. Our new set is sharp, well-balanced, and the handles have a solid, comfortable feel and look great. The quality block looks very nice and has a sharpener to boot. The blades after washing look fantastic. For under $100 this is stupendous value and product (regardless of price). One set we ordered was from the famous German brand and it had knives missing and the steak knives had tiny handles; we sent it back.

Great knife set

Overall a great knife set. Well built and craftsmanship, excellent sharpness (we’ll see over time) great looks and value. Would have liked for this color to be available in the bigger set of 8 steak knifes.
Word of caution with this or any other knife set, DONOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER OR LEAVE THEM OUT TO DRY! YOU MUST CLEAN AND DRY THEM AFTER USE, If not they will have water spots which will be hard to remove or worse they’ll get rusted.
