The Umpqua RiverRun Nipper is an upgraded version of the tool an angler reaches for more than any other. Crafted from lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant aluminum with sharp stainless steel cutting blades, it is built to handle a full season of trimming tippet, leader, and knots, in fresh water or salt. This is the Azure colorway.
What sets the RiverRun apart is that the stainless steel cutting blades are replaceable. Most nippers get tossed once they go dull โ with the RiverRun, you swap the blades and keep the tool, so a good nipper lasts. The blades handle a wide range too, cutting lines from 8X all the way up to 80lb, which means one tool covers everything from the finest trout tippet to heavy saltwater leader.
It comes complete with a secure, adjustable lanyard for easy carry, so the nipper is always right where you need it on the water.
