The Thermapen Classic Thermometer is a reliable and user-friendly temperature measuring device designed for precision and durability. It features a large, easy-to-read digital display with a temperature range of -49.9 to 299.9 °C, offering a 0.1 °C resolution for accurate readings. If preferred, the resolution can be switched to 1 °C via a toggle located inside the battery compartment.
To conserve battery life, the thermometer includes an auto power-off function that activates after ten minutes of inactivity—though this can be disabled if continuous operation is needed. It also provides low battery and open circuit indicators, ensuring you're always aware of its operating status.
Powered by two lithium coin cell batteries, the Thermapen Classic offers an impressive minimum battery life of 1500 hours. The foldable probe rotates 180° into the side of the device for safe and compact storage.
Its washable casing, enhanced with Biomaster antimicrobial protection, helps reduce bacterial growth, while the ergonomic rubber seal offers added protection against the ingress of water, dust, and food particles, making it ideal for food safety and hygiene-focused environments.
