Get the legendary ambiance of a world-class NYC tracking room
HitVerb 54th Street Studio 6 is a convolution reverb plug-in for use in your DAW of choice, developed with Troy Germano, CEO of The Hit Factory Studios. HitVerb 54th Street Studio 6 delivers the sound of The Hit Factory’s Studio 6 in NYC, a 26’ x 22’ x 15’ tracking room known for a more intimate, tighter reverb sound than the previously released Studio 1… thanks in no small part to the large glasswork between the control room, tracking room, and iso booths. You instantly get both the vibe and ambiance of The Hit Factory’s Studio 6 in NYC — and you don’t even have to book session time or fly to New York.

HitVerb 54th Street Studio 6’s impulse responses are the real deal — they were produced right within Studio 6 itself: the hallowed room responsible for the reverb heard on platinum records from artists like Sting, The Darkness, Nelly, and Dream Theater.

A Legendary Tracking Room.

HitVerb 54th Street Studio 6 provides a world-class impulse response of Studio 6: a medium-sized (26’ x 22’ x 15’) tracking room in NYC. Studio 6 was as close to recording in a fishbowl as could be imagined. The live room consisted of one large studio with two adjacent iso booths. The glasswork that separated the rooms to the control room allowed for a certain closeness between musicians when cutting tracks or recording solo instruments. Studio 6 provides a tighter reverb than other Hit Factory rooms; a dream for rock drums and vocals.
Full control.

HitVerb 54th Street Studio 6 gives you full control over your virtual mic distance as well as position, including height and width. You get three mic options to choose from: Neumann® U67s, Coles® 4038 Studio Ribbons, and Sennheiser® MKH 800 Twins.

You’ll start with the true-to-life tone of a phenomenal acoustic space… but you get plenty of controls to make it your own. Shape controls include low and high-cut filters and tail length… and you can even add or remove carpet to the floor at the click of a button to dampen reflections or open them up. Separate controls let you dial in the right balance between early reflections and tail signals of your reverb.
You also get several presets created by top studio engineers, and it’s easy to store and recall your own.

Convolution; Not Convoluted.
As distinct from analog reverb processors like plates, chambers, or springs, convolution reverb is a digital reverb type that is created using impulse responses recorded in real-world physical environments. Test signals like sweeps and white noise are played in the desired acoustic space and recorded through various microphones - usually a matched stereo pair. Once captured, this impulse response data is used to accurately recreate the behavior of an acoustic space as it applies to musical sources.

Some reverbs can be hard to use, presenting too many tweaky options at the expense of usability. We made sure to design HitVerb with a streamlined, intuitive UI that’s easily understandable by everyone.

About The Hit Factory Studios

Since their start in 1969, The Hit Factory recording studios have existed in six different locations in New York City and London. With countless hits tracked at The Hit Factory studios, they’ve been earning their name for over 50 years.

The Hit Factory built its storied history by being a top-shelf destination recording facility for many of the world's greatest artists and bands. 50 years after its inception, we thought it was time to bring the sound of The Hit Factory rooms to everyone. After all, not everyone can get to New York, London to track and mix their songs.

“HitVerb is a collaborative effort with years in the making. Historically, there have been a total of 26 recording studios across the seven Hit Factory locations since 1975. 12 of the room reverbs within HitVerb were collected over the years as impulse responses and proprietary captures. Seminal albums were recorded and mixed within all of these studios; pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, blues, jazz, and soundtracks we all have come to listen to during the past half century. We’re confident you’ll enjoy using these spectacular sounding virtual live rooms on your productions for many years to come." Troy Germano

Eufy dropped the ball on this vacuum
Style: L50 SES
I’ll start by saying the reason I purchased this vacuum, is because I have a Eufy 25c robot vacuum that is very dependable. I decided I wanted an upgrade because the 25C was great for cleaning, but I had to empty it way too often. I just knew I would love the L50 SES. I thought it was just what I was looking for a self emptying robot vacuum with a 60 day fill capacity. Allowing 2 months before I needed to touch my vacuum. Here’s where things went wrong. I never got a chance to test the vacuum because it wouldn’t connect to my WiFi and I tried everything. Now this wouldn’t have been a problem if the L50 came with a remote control like the 25C. Unfortunately I had to rely on the App and since the L50 couldn’t connect to my WiFi, I couldn’t control the vacuum. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the customer service at Eufy is awesome. I was given the option to replace the vacuum with a new one but after researching the L50 i decided to return it for a refund. Apparently this model has a defect, because I found so many negative reviews about the same issue with the same model. The thing is I never read reviews because I have a Eufy smart scale, 25C robot vacuum and an Eufy security system and everything works perfectly. So in the end I purchased a Shark Matrix Self emptying robot vacuum and a Shark self emptying stick vacuum. If Shark’s vacuum preforms well, Eufy might have lost a valued customer. I hope this review helps someone make a informed decision. By the way Eufy self emptying vacuum needs replacement bags and the Shark Matrix robot vacuum doesn’t need bags. I will say the suction and design on the Eufy L50 SES was great.

Much better than the old model.
Style: L50 SES
I had an old s11 that finally died. This one is much better. It maps the house and follows a snake pattern. Once the mapping is finished you can select what rooms you want to clean. I like the self emptying feature. Plenty of battery life.

Good performance, flaky Wi-Fi connection
Style: L50 SES
The L50 physically works great - it does a good job of picking up dust and dirt at the end of the day. The pathfinder and route planning algorithm is fairly efficient at determining the best way to clean a room. Sometimes it kicks around bits of dust with its spinning brush without picking it up, but it's not often. What has been terrible, however, is the Wi-Fi support. Since our provider disabled 2.4 GHz support from their router modem without notice, I use a Mac Mini to supply the 2.4 GHz signal, and even though the Eufy is next to it and my phone gets full signal strength, it still can't connect to it half the time. After it fails to connect, it needs to be restarted or even reset to try to get the connection again. Support doesn't seem to be helpful in offering a solution.
