[short]Edited by J. Stevenson, Revised by W.H.C. Frend, Pages: 463[/short][long]

This sourcebook of primary texts illustrates the history of Christianity from the first century to the death of Constantine. It covers all major persons and topics in early Christian life and thought and includes Gnostic texts and anti-Christian polemic.

"For half a century, A New Eusebius has been the means by which many of us first heard the voices of the early Christians in their own recording. Chronologically ordered and topically selected, this anthology still provides the most noteworthy witnesses to the church's formation in its sufferings, doctrinal disputes, and professions of faith."
--D. H. Williams, professor of patristics and historical theology, Baylor University

"Professors of early Christianity will enthusiastically welcome the reprinting of these two extremely well-selected and unsurpassed collections of documents [A New Eusebius and Creeds, Councils and Controversies]. These two textbooks have long set the standard for collections of original documents illustrating the practices and thought of early Christians. It is extremely useful for those who teach this period to have these texts back in print."
--Kevin Madigan, Winn Professor of Ecclesiastical History, The Divinity School, Harvard University

"This collection of documents from the world of early Christianity is not only handy but also enlightening. Here one has immediate access to ancient words on Gnosticism and Arianism, baptism and persecution, and canon and controversy. Here, in the antique, one may find something rare, something lovely, something new."
--D. Jeffrey Bingham, associate dean of biblical and theological studies, Wheaton College.

"J. Stevenson's classic two-volume compilation, A New Eusebius and Creeds, Councils and Controversies, assembles snippets from a wide range of hard-to-find materials: acts of Christian martyrs, conciliar documents, fragments from heretics and persecutors, inscriptions on coins and catacombs, snatches of gossip in scattered letters. The final result is a brilliant mosaic of early Christianity."
--William Harmless, author of Augustine in His Own Words

Tough ball. Perfect for large chewing breeds.
Color: 3 Colors
My German Shepherd Dog is a year and half old, and she loves these. They truly are pretty indestructible. It took her a little bit to figure out how to squeak it bc they are tough, but now it’s easy for her. They bounce well too. They are larger than a normal tennis ball but a good size for a large dog. Luna is 85 lbs. I would purchase they again, but I probably won’t need to for awhile.

Enjoyable For Our Dogs
Color: 3 Colors
Very durable material. They have a little squish too them for easy pick up for our 50 pound dogs. Our dogs love all balls. They have a little weight to them, but not excessive for a medium to large size dog. We have an English Springer Spaniel and a Goldendoodle. Fun for playtime, but you probably won’t want to throw them around the house.

Theses are great tough squeaky dog balls. Last a long time unless the dogs lose them outside,. Just the correct size for a german shepherd.

A little too hard for our dog.
Color: 4 Colors
These are definitely durable balls. They are a harder than our dog prefers. He does play with them a little and enjoys squeaking them, but he doesn't like to play fetch with them and that is primarily the only thing he really enjoys doing with balls.
