400W Complete Solar Kit with Batteries for Camper Vans, RVs and Off Grid Sheds

This 400W 12 volt complete solar kit with batteries is built for people who want real power in a medium to large camper van, RV, hunting cabin or garden shed without piecing everything together. You get four high efficiency 100W N type solar panels, a 40A MPPT charge controller, a 2000W pure sine wave inverter, all the wiring and fusing, plus your choice of two 100Ah AGM batteries or two 100Ah smart lithium batteries. The result is a clean, quiet power system that keeps fridges, lights, fans, tools and chargers running on weekend trips or in a small off grid setup.

400W Complete Kit with Two 100Ah AGM Batteries

Pick the AGM version if you want a tough, familiar battery setup that just sits and works. The Renogy 400W complete kit with two 12V 100Ah AGM batteries gives you 400W of solar feeding a 200Ah, 12V AGM bank through the Rover 40A MPPT controller, with a 2000W 12V pure sine inverter turning that into clean 115V AC for common household appliances.

Four 100W 16BB N type panels do the charging. They use high grade N type cells with up to 25 percent efficiency, so you squeeze more energy out of limited roof space and still see useful output in mixed or partial shade. Each panel is about 34.1 x 22.8 x 1.2 inches and weighs roughly 13 pounds, easy to handle on a van or shed roof.

The two 12V 100Ah deep cycle AGM batteries are rated at 100Ah at the 10 hour rate, with a charge voltage target of 14.4 to 14.8V. Each battery is about 13.1 x 6.9 x 8.6 inches and weighs around 64 pounds, so they sit like a proper house battery bank, not a toy.

Everything in the kit is sized to work together: Z brackets to mount the panels, Y branch connectors to wire the array, tray cables to reach the controller, ANL fuse and holder on the battery side, waterproof inline fuse on the PV side, heavy 4AWG and 8AWG cables where they belong, plus battery inverter cables, BT 2 Bluetooth module and a 500A battery monitor with shunt so you can actually see what is going on with your system.

This setup is a strong fit if you want proven lead acid, are not chasing maximum weight savings, and prefer something you can install once and trust for years.

400W Complete Kit with Two 100Ah Lithium Batteries

Choose the lithium version if weight, usable capacity and cold weather performance are at the top of the list. The Renogy 400W complete solar kit with lithium batteries swaps the AGM pair for two 12V 100Ah smart LiFePO4 batteries with Bluetooth and self heating, while keeping the same panels, Rover 40A MPPT and 2000W inverter.

The solid state lithium iron phosphate batteries are much lighter, around 26.9 pounds each, with a compact footprint of roughly 10.6 x 7.6 x 8.1 inches. Built in Bluetooth lets you check state of charge and battery status directly from your phone, and the self heating function is designed to protect charging in cold climates by warming the cells when needed.

With lithium, more of the rated 100Ah per battery is usable on a daily basis, so your 400W solar kit with 200Ah of LiFePO4 supports longer runtimes and deeper discharge without the same penalty you see with AGM. That makes a big difference if you are running a fridge, fans, lights, laptops and networking gear into the evening or through poor weather.

The rest of the package mirrors the AGM kit: four 100W N type panels, Rover Li 40A MPPT, 2000W pure sine inverter, Z brackets, Y connectors, tray cables, fusing and inverter cables, plus the BT 2 module for controller level Bluetooth monitoring.

Built For Fast DIY Installs and Travel

Both versions of this 400W complete solar kit are designed so a reasonably handy person can install them with basic tools.

The panel frames use PA66 GB30 reinforced corners, which help with safe handling on ladders and roofs and stand up to vibration on the road. The included Z brackets are straightforward to mount on van, RV or shed roofs, and the solar Y branch connectors, pre cut 20 ft 10AWG adaptor kit and 8 ft 8AWG tray cables simplify PV and battery runs to the Rover controller.

With the 2000W 12V pure sine inverter in the kit, you can plug in typical small appliances once everything is wired: fridges, laptop bricks, phone chargers, small microwaves, coffee makers and similar loads within the 2000W rating, with 4000W surge available for motor starts.

The whole system is compact enough for a medium or large camper van electrical bay or a small power corner in a shed, garden office or hunting cabin, while still giving you real off grid capability.

Smart Charging, Heat Management and Monitoring

At the center of the charging system is the Rover Li 40A MPPT charge controller. It accepts up to 100V DC PV input and up to 520W of PV at 12V, so a 400W array sits well within its limits. Automatic 12V or 24V recognition means it can support future changes, and 40A of output is plenty for this battery size.

An external temperature sensor is included so the controller can adjust charge voltage based on real battery temperature. That protects against undercharging in the cold and overcharging in heat, with a rated operating span from about minus 40Β°F up to 149Β°F. For people storing vehicles outside or parking in real weather, that protection matters.

The kit also includes a BT 2 Bluetooth module so you can see solar input, battery voltage, charge stage and more from the Renogy app, and for the AGM version a 500A battery monitor with shunt gives a clear state of charge picture instead of guessing from voltage alone.

Great Read!!! Great story!!!
Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.

Sadly, DNF
Format: Kindle
I read this thru KU. I LOVED the synopsis. And then I began reading... and it was a DNF at 68% after picking it up and putting it down several times because I really loved the main female character. *****SPOILERS***** Pros: The world is unique, intriguing and fun. The primary female character is bad-a** but not a b*tech or a mary sue. The primary female has depth. I really want to know what happens to her even tho it's been weeks and I don't remember her name. The villains to the point I read are pretty good -- an ever present threat of mysterious and possibly many culprits. Cons: Way, way too many points of view. I stopped counting at 7. It's the prime reason why I don't care about most of the characters or remember their names even when I like them. There's just too many points of view so almost none of the characters have enough book space for the author to properly develop them. This literally killed the book for me. Actually it killed my desire to read. For weeks. The main male is more villain than hero. He agreed to marry the main female then locks her up & eschews her for her sister, all while bad mouthing her as unfit to rule when he never spent any time with her getting to know her. He is actually unfit to rule as he is blind to the woes of his own kingdom and starts off a peace mission to secure a ceasefire through marriage by murdering an inn full of people in her country for no real reason. Plus, he constantly makes promises he does not keep. And it's gross of him to pine for the sister behind the main female's back. ***** As much as I really wanted to see what happened to the main female character, it wasn't enough for me to keep trying to slog thru this book. There was a lot of potential here that just fell short. Hence, 3 stars.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!
