The King James Bible for Today is an update of the language of Authorized King James Version of the Bible. There are many translations of the Scriptures today but the 1611 King James Version is still known as the Authorized Version. Because of the loyalty to the Authorized Version it is time to produce a readable King James Version for Believers of today. This update is not a new translation. It simply updates the language of the most influential translation of the Bible in history to the English language as it is spoken today. Bible readers will be better able to read and understand the Word of God. The update of the language of King James Version does not alter the original translation it simply makes it a more readable translation for today's Bible reader.

The Authorized King James Version has had several revisions since it was first printed in 1611. There were minor revisions with the printings between 1611 and 1616. The first major revision was in 1629 in which the Apocrypha was dropped. There were other major revisions in 1638 and 1762. The last major revision was in 1769. This 1769 revision is what has been called the Authorized King James Version ever since. There is a tremendous difference between the 1611 and the 1769 editions of the Authorized King James Version because 158 years had passed and the English language had changed significantly. It has been 246 years since that 1769 revision and the English language has changed tremendously in those 246 years.

Updating the language of the Authorized King James Version from its 1769 English to present day English is a means of preserving the Authorized King James Version in the face of all the newer translations. This revision will preserve the Authorized King James Version of the Bible for many generations to come.

Work has begun on the Old Testament for future publication.

I first bought this chair back in August of 2023. I used it nearly everyday for several hours. The chair just broke recently- the metal frame bent on the bottom of the chair (probably due to long term sitting and leaning to one side). This a great chair for college students looking for a more affordable but comfortable chair. The wheels move nice and smooth, the arm rests move up and down, and the back mesh of the chair is supportive, comfortable and breathable. To me, the seat of the chair is slightly bigger than a normal desk chair. It reclined decently far back and had a wide range of height adjustments. I just reordered this chair because I love it so much! I recommend this for anyone looking for a affordable, but comfortable desk chair!

Seriously, it's just a great chair. It's comfy, it works, it's well made and it's a fantastic price. I picked this up after trying a "criss cross" style chair that simply was NOT working for everyday, all day home office work. This chair is great and I love that the arms can go up, which turns it into a great art chair as well! The back support is solid, although it's not cushioned at all so you may find putting a little lumbar pillow will help (it hasn't bothered me but over time the elasticity of the mesh has worn a bit) It was very easy to put together and I've been using it everyday, for 8-10 hours a day for several months now. For price you can't beat it. It's also wide enough of a seat I can sit cross crossed.

Chair is pretty comfortable, wheels are solid and it holds height well. Biggest issue is the lean lock, even when engaged the chair does not hold an upright position, so if you're like me and prefer sitting relatively straight, this chair does not offer much support when doing so. Not bad for the price, but I would generally look elsewhere unless you don't care much for adjustment.
