The Rat UGT1A1 (UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1) ELISA immunoassay kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat UGT1A1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat UGT1A1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat UGT1A1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm Β± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat UGT1A1.Β You can calculate the concentration of Rat UGT1A1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

These are just simply too large to use as chapstick unless you do both top and bottom at the same time ( no thank you). I threw them away. 3 stars because it appears to be a good product, but they got the packaging all wrong to call it chap stick.

Replaced Vaseline - Far superior product
I received this as a gift a few months ago and it's all I use now. I use it on my lips and on my neck wrinkles. Do not leave it in a warm environment, like hot car or pants pockets, it will get very soft. If it does get soft, i just dab it on ranther than rolling/wiping on. Also its best to roll it down when not in use, but not necessary. I used to be addicted to Vaseline products for my lips and this is far superior in many ways.

Not really good as a lip balm
It is way too melty or liquidy when applying. It's like putting oil on your lips. No staying power. I actually ended using it more as a skin moisturizer like a lotion. It's pretty good for that. I haven't even tried taking it with me in my pocket as I think it'll turn to a liquid like coconut oil down here in sunny hot Florida. .

Best lip balm I have ever used.
By far the best lip balm you will ever buy. When I say I am addicted to Chapstick/lip balm it's an understatement. I don't just have one kind, in one place. I have multiple kinds (you never know what you're feeling or need) in every place! Like my cars chapstick has a chapstick family. I have been trying to pay attention to ingredients lately and realize how many awful chemicals are in most of the products I use. So...here we are, woke up after sleeping with a fan in my face and my lip was dry and cracked straight down the middle. Something so stupid caused so much discomfort I started immediately trying all the different brands, oils, balms, etc. Some burned, some made it worse, some did nothing. Two days of this nonsense and I decided to try this product. It was delivered the next day thank goodness because I was becoming so annoyed with the pain from a small cut. I instantly put the product on and my lip felt so much better. It lasts a very long time so it isn't drying back out and it isn't painful to reapply when needed. It's been less than 24 hours and my lip is almost better. I even slept with the fan on. This balm is amazing, made in the USA, comes in a huge tube unlike the other brands, costs is amazingly low, and it has no nasty smell at all! The only complaint I have would be my concern for my addiction to carry one in my pocket and due to the ingredients it will probably melt some but I will worry about that when I need to. Seriously, this stuff is so amazing I had to write this review. I don't know these people and I sure didn't get it for free. I will be purchasing more from them and sharing what a quality product it is. Just get it.
