Same probiotic strains, but a subtle formulation update

Iβve used NatureWise Oral Health Probiotics (WiseBiotics) for a while and recently noticed a clear difference between the older and newer version β especially in taste and texture.
After comparing the labels side-by-side, there has been a formulation change. The probiotic strains are still the same (including BLIS K12 and M18), but the newer version now lists Organic Inulin (90 mg) as an active ingredient instead of just a minor βother ingredient.β
This seems to explain the changes I noticed:
β’ The tablets feel more powdery/chalky
β’ The taste is slightly different (a bit less crisp mint, slightly sweeter/fiber-like)
β’ The dissolve/chew experience is not quite the same as before
Inulin is a prebiotic fiber, so this change may actually help feed the probiotics β which is a positive. But it definitely changes the user experience.
For me, itβs not necessarily a dealbreaker, but itβs noticeable enough that others should be aware, especially if youβre sensitive to texture or ingredients like inulin.
Bottom line:
Same probiotic strains, but a subtle formulation update that affects taste and texture. Still a good product β just not identical to the previous version.

These WORK!
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
I purchased these two bottles ago for help with dealing with a bad case of oral thrush caused by a couple rounds of powerful antibiotics and fluconazole (rebound?) for a bad UTI and resulting yeast infection. Oil pulling, mouthwashes, salt water rinses all helped, but this put me over the top. I also take a candida killing herbal supplement as well as a variety of probiotics. I appreciate the mint is very mild (these are NOT breath mints which only mask the problem) and dissolve them slowly in my mouth at bedtime along with another during the day. I am also sure to not put anything else in my mouth for a good long time after so the pbβs can do their magic. i believe the thrush is mostly gone, but I still have some residual tingling and burning from time to time. These, along with good oral cleansing practices, help tremendously. I now order them regularly. They also make your breath fresh, naturally. Great product. Highly recommend!

I ordered this a week ago, and it seems to taste like smoke or an ashtray. It was not a pleasant taste at all, I expected it to be great with all the other good reviews. Unfortunately that was not the case for me.

effective for dry mouth during sleep
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I tried this in lieu of my usual Biotene. It works just as well and you can't beat the price savings. I mouth breathe during sleep and this helps keep my mouth moist. Only thing I wish the cap were not a safety cap as I find it a bit difficult to open, so I transfer the contents to an old Biotene bottle. Yet I certainly understand the purpose of a safety cap. On my 2nd bottle of this now and if the price stays competitive this is my go-to rinse.
