(1) One SKB unit is defined as the amount of enzyme needed to form 10 mg of reducing sugars from 1% soluble starch solution at pH 5.0 and 40 °C in 30 minutes. (2) One FCC Lipase Unit (LU) is defined as that quantity of enzyme that will liberate the equivalent of one μmol of acid (H+) per minute from the substrate, under the conditions of the assay. The assay is based on a five-minute hydrolysis of an olive oil substrate at pH 6.5 and 30 °C. The fatty acids released on hydrolysis of the glycerol esters are determined by titration with sodium hydroxide. (3) One carboxymethyl cellulose unit (CMCU) is that amount of enzyme which liberates one micromole of reducing sugar (expressed as glucose equivalents) in one minute under the conditions of the assay. (4) The activity of bromelain is measured in the FCC PU; the assay of which is based on the hydrolysis of casein. This assay is based on a 60-minute proteolytic hydrolysis of a casein substrate at pH 6.0 and 40 °C. One PU (Papain Unit) is defined as that quantity of enzyme that liberates the equivalent of 1μg of tyrosine per hour under the conditions of the assay.

Works Great, Use Daily, No Issues
Style: Alpha TT 25
While expensive, this product is rock-solid and has not given me a single issue over 2 years of use. Would buy again, highly satisfied. Can't beat the functionality or peace of mind of knowing right where our beloved family pet and hunting companion is located.

Great little radio, it was.
Great value for the price. I have received excellent audio reports on a couple repeaters I have tested on so far, on the first day with the radio. Love how you can customize all the display background and text colors. Tempature sensing fan works properly. Unfortunately, they do not send a programming cable with this radio, very annoying! It will not save offset and t-ctcs tone into memory mode when programming by hand, which is unfortunate because it is easier to program by hand than some other cheap radios, like the Baofeng keypad. I really wanted to upload all my channels via Chirp, and to make sure Chirp is actually supported before posting review, but it is what it is, and now I have to find a proper programming cable, then hope I did not pick one that does not work. Other than this very disappointing fact, this radio is well worth the money and I highly recommend if you are on a budget or just getting into the hobby. I have mainly been working HF since getting my General ticket and have made contact all over the world, so you can rest assured this review is by someone who knows what they are talking about. Grab one while you can, you will not be disappointed, except for them not including a programming cable! Edit: Have to return, squelch not working on second day. Right in the middle of a net, had to use monitor button to finish my contact. Turn monitor off and the receiver will not open squelch, which is set to 1. Can set squelch to 0 and receive but anyone who runs VHF/UHF knows that, unlike HF, an open squelch is just too noisy. Spent hours trying to fix, no joy! 73, Stephen

Compact, loud, controls similar to Baofeng handheld, knobs aren't that great.
My first mobile rig, and currently the one I'm still using. I don't' use it too heavy, but I've had it for about 3 years and it's worked great. I've used it on many different applications Pros: Compact size, good display, small fan on the rear to help keep the unit cool. The controls are very similar to a Baofeng handheld radio so great for beginners who likely started out with that brand. Compatible with GMRS, FRS, other "out of band" frequencies (mine was from the box, I can't guarantee the same with a newer model though). Do this at your own "risk," you are an adult and can make your own choices :) Cons: Fan is a bit loud if that's something that bothers you during a long QSO. Repeater tail squelch is loud at times. But the biggest con by far is the knobs are garbage. They are rubber, and you will most certainly have one fall of at some point and loose it. I purchased some small guitar amp knobs and replaced the (now both lost) factory knobs. If the knobs were metal or fixed to the device I would give 5 stars.

junk
radio runs hot even when not transmitting. programming cable does not work with win 11. it does work with chirp once you find a 10 year old pc to program it. programming from the front panel seems impossible. knobs are made of rubber and keep falling off. i am sure i will find more once i use it for a while if it lasts. Update: I was able to trudge through the manual and make the changes i needed from the front panel, took a while with the darn buttons falling off. Manual is not good but with some patience you can work through it. If you need a tiny radio and your budget allows i would look at the anytone 778.
