I used that along with several others I had photographed to create this painting. The background wall I had saved for several years because of the unusual colors and sign subjects and thought the Silver car would be perfect for the signage. Dr. Pierce’s Golden Medical Discovery and Women’s Tonic over a sign for Ranier Beer made for two unusual product signs. I changed the name of the Tavern to Danny’s Tavern as a tribute to a close friend who passed recently.
