Novella's formation was the result of an instant spark guitarist Hollie Warren, guitarist Sophy Hollington, and bassist Suki Sou met through mutual friends in Brighton in 2010, where they quickly realized that they shared a common love for 60s counterculture and bands like Black Sabbath, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Pale Saints. The addition of drummer Iain Laws in 2011 and keyboardist Isabel Spurgeon in 2014 solidified the group into a propulsive engine, capable of welding woozy, cosmic psychedelia to sustained squalls of flanged-out, far-out dream pop. Novella's debut album, Land, is a controlled blast of mainlined electricity, a tempest of relentless groove and crystalline vocals that is at once the vicious edge and the calm eye of the storm.

Great socks, watch out for bad seller

The socks are great, comfy, padded where you want it. I used these for work socks; I have a blend of corporate desk life and maintenance work. I like the low cut so my shoes don't rub the back of my ankle but not so high that socks always fall down. Great for running and sports as well. Been using these for years.
Buyer beware though of the particular seller Liegnitz Group:
They were late shipping, sent me the wrong socks so I sent for a return and they send me the right ones. My return got delivered back to them but they did not process it and did not send out any new ones. They cancelled my order and acted like I got the right ones all along. Buy from a different retailer.

Comfortable with perfect fit

I have had these socks for a few weeks now and wear them when running. I have small feet at a men's size 7 and they fit perfectly. Most men's socks are to big for my feet. They are pretty thin but well made and have good cushion. I recommend these for anyone that likes ankle socks for athletic activities.
