All of Hebrews soars and inspires, giving us some of our most meaningful verses and enduring concepts of God; for example, “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb. 13:8). Small wonder that the 1994 convention program committee chose this book as a basis for the 1994 convention theme, “Attention, Please! God Is Speaking!”

This book is designed with two audiences in mind. Its first purpose is to enhance the experience of convention goers to the 1994 International Convention of the Church of God. Second, it is created to be read and studied quite apart from the convention, as a book to inspire Christian devotion.

The format simply follows the theme for each day of the convention, one for each of seven days. Those attending the convention can read additional inspirational material on each subject, each day. However, non-convention readers will not have to depend on the events or memories of the convention to enjoy the book. Unlike last year’s theme book, we have not incorporated thoughts or comments from the various convention speakers, themselves.
